About Connecticut Elections 2006

This site is intended to be a collection of user-submitted information about the 2006 Connecticut elections.

Adding to the site

You may add to this site as you wish. This is intended to be a collaborative effort. Just click on "edit page" and type in the password, which is election. You may create new pages or just edit existing ones.

What you can add

Any sort of information related to the 2006 elections in Connecticut, from the U.S. Senate race down to local races for the General Assembly. This can include candidate pages, histories, polling numbers and anything else you can think of that you think voters might be interested in knowing.

Please keep information factual. No campaigning allowed! Campaigns are welcome to post biographies of candidates and upcoming events in their areas, if they want.

Uploading images

We have about 1000MB of space to play with, so you can upload images. Please try to keep them under 100K, for the sake of space and loading speeds.

How to add

We're using PBWiki, which uses simplified wiki code. If you've ever added to Wikipedia, it's like that. If not, there's a quick tutorial here.

Questionable content

If you see something that doesn't look factual, or you suspect abuse, let me know. Email me at jeenaone@gmail.com.

Who I am

My name is Chris Bigelow, and I'm a librarian from Enfield. I also run Connecticut Local Politics, which is a blog about Connecticut politics. I go by "Genghis Conn" around the Web.

Thanks for helping out!
